Through calm and poised play, Northwestern displayed in their away game against Fort Mill just why DigitalSports ranks them at 16th in the national rankings and 1 in South Carolina.

After Fort Mill opened the scoring with an early first quarter touchdown, the Trojans responded with four consecutive touchdowns to take a 28-13 lead in the half with them.  Northwestern continued their dominance when in the second half with two more touchdowns, while only allowing one from Fort Mill to win 42-20.

Northwestern was led by the versatility of Dupree Hart.  The junior wide receiver scored the first two touchdowns for the Trojans, a 15-yard rush and 30-yard reception respectively.  Later in the game, he would add to his tally with another rushing touchdown and a punt return for a score.

Quarterback Mason Rudolph had a great game with three touchdown passes.  His favorite target was Quadarius Fair caught two touchdowns from 18 and 27 yards out.

This win bumps Northwestern up to an 8-0 record.  The Trojans’ next game is on October 25 against York.
