After Fort Mill opened the scoring with an early first quarter touchdown, the Trojans responded with four consecutive touchdowns to take a 28-13 lead in the half with them. Northwestern continued their dominance when in the second half with two more touchdowns, while only allowing one from Fort Mill to win 42-20.
Northwestern was led by the versatility of Dupree Hart. The junior wide receiver scored the first two touchdowns for the Trojans, a 15-yard rush and 30-yard reception respectively. Later in the game, he would add to his tally with another rushing touchdown and a punt return for a score.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph had a great game with three touchdown passes. His favorite target was Quadarius Fair caught two touchdowns from 18 and 27 yards out.
This win bumps Northwestern up to an 8-0 record. The Trojans’ next game is on October 25 against York.
